Farihah Ahmed is a writer of fiction and nonfiction. She received her MFA in Fiction from Columbia University, where she was a Felipe De Alba Fellow, and her DDS from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. Her interests include intersectional education, art, and health solutions design, and she is the founder of RoVena, a global NGO that advocates for Rohingya refugee education. She is based in New York and is presently at work on a debut novel about expatriates and refugees, mind-body governance, moral economy of aid, anatomization by art, and the essentially incalculable.
